Dear Parents, Caregivers, and Young Readers,

When our beloved daughter, Akshagna, came into this world, I wanted to create something special in her name as a parent. This thought kindled my spirit and led to this series. She is the real inspiration.

As a parent and a psychologist, I'm passionate about creating awareness about mental health. One of the biggest challenges is finding ways to connect with young children about these important topics. Kids experience a whole world of emotions - joy, excitement, frustration, worry - and it's crucial to support them in understanding and navigating those feelings from an early age.

I'm so excited to launch this series in Akshagna's name, with the hope that her stories will create a safe and playful space to talk about emotions, learn simple tools, and celebrate the power of friendship, kindness, and self-discovery. Each story includes 'Parent Notes' with additional tips for supporting your child's emotional development.

Growing up is a wonderful journey, filled with both big emotions and amazing discoveries. A strong foundation of emotional awareness helps children build resilience and thrive. These stories are just the beginning! Akshagna has many more mindful adventures to share, exploring all the ways we can grow strong hearts and minds.
