This book is a search for a magical technology: the elusive 'earth energies' connected with standing stones and other sacred sites. First published in 1978, Needles of Stone has long and rightly been considered a classic. With the addition of new chapters, this 30th anniversary edition allowed the author to bring the work more up to date and give an opportunity to reflect on what has happened - what's changed, what's stayed the same, which way the field seems to be going - since the book was first written.
