Dan este trainer, coach și consultant în managementul proiectelor. Din toamna anului 2000 este lector la Facultatea de Matematică și Informatică a Universității Babeș-Bolyai din Cluj-Napoca. De asemenea, de-a lungul a mai bine de 25 de ani a colaborat cu diverse companii IT unde a participat la conceperea, dezvoltarea, managementul sau coordonarea a peste 40 de proiecte software.
