React est l’un des outils les plus utilisés pour le front-end des applications web d’aujourd’hui. Créé par Facebook en 2011 et rendu open source en 2013, il est utilisé bien évidemment par Facebook mais également un grand nombre de sociétés, applications open source ou encore applications mobiles.
Le but de ce livre est de vous amener à être efficace avec React au plus vite, et d’avoir une bonne vision de ses possibilités et des outils qui s’associent à lui pour créer tout type d’applications.
Les sujets suivants seront notamment développés :
- Écrire ses premiers composants
- Effectuer des actions asynchrones comme appeler des API
- Structurer une application plus importante avec Redux

Le livre s’adresse à tout développeur souhaitant s’initier à React. Il n’est pas nécessaire d’avoir déjà connaissance d’autres frameworks front-end, mais préférable d’être un minimum à l’aise avec le développement web et JavaScript.

Mon but a été d’écrire ce livre chapitre par chapitre, et de recueillir les retours de lecteurs au plus vite, afin de coller au plus près à leurs besoins. Je me suis lancé dans ce projet en constatant qu’il n’existe pas de livre en français traitant de React, alors que lorsqu’on apprend une technologie (langage, framework…), le livre a des avantages indéniables.
