我相信會拿起這本書看你，不少都對烏干達或我本人有不同的疑問或興趣。起初想要用英文書寫，畢竟我還是寫英文較為流暢。但考慮到想要了解這經歷的大多都是土生土長的香港人（特別是教會的弟兄姊妹和不擅長閱讀中文的長輩），於是一鼓作氣（其實也花了很多天的糾結）決定用中文寫下這些片段。有時候一句句子打了好幾遍仍然辭不達意，中學文憑試背過、用過的四字詞都忘得一乾二淨了，但打得愈慢，想得愈仔細。許多差不多忘掉了的經歷和感覺在細想之下，好像又重新活了一遍，對過去幾年也算是種懷緬吧！文筆還有許多進步空間，也辛苦各位讀者了。
