The reader's knowledge of the programming language is thus based on practice, through the use of examples rather than abstract explanations.

Christophe is a passionate self taught developer who fell in love with programming at age 15 and never recovered since. He learns by doing, pairing, teaching and reading. A participant of the Parisian Coding Dojo since its creation in 2003, he shares his excursions into functional programming with many people.
