Having spent my formative years in the countryside, my first memories are around picking potatoes from the fields for the farms around the village I grew up in.

Somehow this progressed into the computer scene when I got to my late teens, and for the last 30 years or more, IT has been my home for work and pleasure.

I never thought of writing stories, and had no reason to believe that I would even try to write, let alone publish a childrens book. Since a lot of my last few years has been  writing process's, reports, technical information documents and training materials, I am not really sure of how I got here.

I know that it all started with my wives request to write a quick outline for a story that her class of primary children could then adapt and complete. Having completed this, I found that I wanted to fill in the blanks and finish the story.

I enjoyed the process of writing and creating the stories that have turned into Ariel & Dusters adventures, and I hope they will be enjoyed by yourselves just as much .
