The genesis for this book occurred one early morning when I “awoke” to see Patsy Ramsey at the foot of my bed. I recognized her from the media coverage surrounding the murder of her daughter, Jon Benet who was 5 years old.
As most would be, I was confused why the apparition of Ms. Ramsey either entered my dream or stood at the foot of my bed. We looked at each other for several seconds when she asked me, “Which would you rather be—the Wick or the Fuse?”
This book provides an eye-opening history of our present psychological state in America and how we have shaped the lens through which we see the world. It offers a sage message hoping to provoke critical thought, self-reflection and examination, with the ultimate goal to inspire actions—large and small. Moreover, it provides simple, incremental ways each person can effect changes within themselves and the world around them.
