I have 20 years of experience in product / project / portfolio management including managing in a traditional approach and have been a mentor and coach in Agile.

At the beginning of my career I worked as an analyst, and later as a certified project manager (Prince2 Practitioner) in one of the largest banks in Poland. At that time, my responsibilities were e.g. 

• being a Business Owner of the system dedicated to collection and recovery overdues (Credit Area), 
• data conversion project and managing the whole ecosystem (and their projects) in a bank Transfer Agency (i.e. managing the systems with over $3 billions assets; Mutual Funds / Payment Area). 

For 10 years, after joining e-commerce:

• I worked as an Agile Coach (CSM, CSP, PSM, PSPO), implementing Agile, improving the efficiency of techniques used, increasing employee satisfaction and, above all, responding to the expectations of external and internal customers. 

I worked with more than 50 development teams (and Product Owners / Product Managers), facilitating or providing techniques for managing backlogs, prioritizing items, setting up the feedback loops with customers and stakeholders.

• For the last months, I’ve been working as Delivery Manager managing processes for the whole organization and managing a portfolio of initiatives implementing e.g. Value Tree.

Apart from my job in e-commerce, I was also a partner at 202 Procent s.c. We have carried out trainings and consultations on broadly understood Agile. One of the challenges was to create an Agile Lab at Volkswagen Poznań, i.e. the implementation of an agile approach in a production organization.

Thanks to my experience, I have the perspective of traditional management systems (waterfall) and those based on an agile approach (agile in various variations).

I am characterized by unconventional ideas, multi-context analysis leading to non-standard solutions and, as my colleagues call me, I am a voice of reason combined with questioning the status quo.

I am also the author of the book AgileHints - Twarde aspekty pracy zwinnej (agilehints.pl), co-founder of the largest portal on agile methods in Poland (agile247.pl), co-author of the e-book Jak być dobrym Product Ownerem (leanpub.com/jak-byc-dobrym-Product-Ownerem) and co-founder of S29 Technologies INC. in Calgary, Canada.
